Residence Inn by Marriott Cleveland Downtown

Couldnt have picked a better place to host my business. Their Sales manager was so kind and respectful when we were touring. We were shown multiple rooms with all the benefits and they had the best rooms with the best value for my money. Comfy beds and amazing breakfast

Everything about our stay was wonderful. I chose this hotel because it is within walking distance of Hilarities Comedy Club. I honestly didn’t do much research beyond that. But what a delightful stay! The hotel is beautiful and our room was so comfortable. The water pressure in the shower (which is very important to me) was incredible and it’s the best shower I’ve had at a hotel! Each staff member we encountered was so polite and kind - especially the two ladies working the front desk on Sunday morning (10/12/25.) I loved their morning energy! Valet parking was efficient and easy. I’m going to be hard-pressed to ever book a different hotel in the Cleveland area.

Had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn ! The staff were very welcoming, let us check into our hotel 5 hours early, and assisted us with parking. Our suite was very clean and cozy, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel was also located in a great neighborhood, close to lots of attractions. I would definitely recommend staying here if ever visiting Cleveland!

The lovely staff and large room infinitely improved my stay in Cleveland after a bad Airbnb experience. Asia at the front desk heard me out while I rambled about my one night at the Airbnb, and she gave me a room upgrade, a discount, and found a room that was ready so I could check in about an hour early. Being somewhere comfortable and safe made all the difference for me trip.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. The room was spacious and clean but a little dated. Access to anything you need downtown. Has an Uber pick up right outside the door. Directly across the street from Rocket Arena.

This place is unique -- the hotel is built over one of the historic arcades. And the team is fantastic. It's a must see if you like funky hotel properties.

I am a bonvoy member and always choose the Marriott brand because of the wonderful experiences and quality. This time I was disappointed and it's a shame. The room was not clean to normal standards and the overall upkeep of the hotel seemed a bit week. I had hair in the bath and dirty stinky dishes in the dishwasher. The kitchen was pretty much disgusting (dirty drawers, messy, dirty dishes etc). The bathroom sink would exhaust sewer smells whenever I opened the tap to use it. The TV lost connectivity whenever swiveled to a different angle... First time that I have to write a negative review on a Marriott hotel. Disappointing. Important to mention that I did talk to front desk and they compensated me by topping up 5000 bonvoy points, but I wish I just had a better experience and not needed compensation at all...

The residence Inn has great customer service, clean rooms and a good breakfast. My brother Mitch lost a bet and had to check in wearing a pink tutu in full ballerina outfit. The customer service were great and helped to fly along making sure he made a grand entrance Prince around in his pink, fluffy tutu, tights, and ballerina slippers. I hear they will be posting some pictures online and have asked him to come back and prance through the lobby again!
